New Boat Acceptance Survey

Hamble Marine Surveys has just completed an Acceptance Survey on a new Sealine F42 for export. The owner who is about to take delivery of the new vessel decided to appoint Julian Smith of Hamble Marine Surveys to survey the vessel to be assured that she is without any defects. With an impressive UK fit inventory of navigational and audio visual equipment fitted, the survey required was extensive and very detailed survey.

Providing reasurrance with a new vessel an Acceptance Survey is becoming very popular, and in this case as the export is likely to be to West Africa the survey has proved to be essential.

During an Acceptance Survey the structure and standard installed systems are all checked and tested and UK fit equipment tested and their installation assessed. A seatrial is normally offered and then we are able to work with the dealers to address the snags under warranty. When a vessel is to be exported, Hamble Marine Surveys can also be involved in a loading survey at the loading port and unloading survey at the discharge port.
